I have discovered the underlying issue and released a bugfix update to TestFlight. Please give build 33 a try and let me know if things are working better now.
I've noted your preference regarding the one-tap to copy. As I'm sure you've guessed, the current behaviour is due to needing to select a cell in order to reveal its site's capabilities. This decision was made in concert with a focus on use through auto-fill, since it's a more secure mechanism for sending passwords to your password fields (as compared to the public pasteboard).
I do understand your perspective, though, and will keep it in mind for future product design work. I can't make any promises but user preferences are always top of mind when I'm weighing design decisions.
