Hello,
Really like the idea behind spectre and I have a couple of questions that weren't answered by the website.
I use android, Windows and Linux. Can I get started by using Masterpassword, and switch over to spectre once it's released? Will they be intercompatible (i.e. can I use the same secret, and will I be able to transfer data)?
What happens if you need to change your password for a website, say if the password is leaked or compromised? Would you have to add an increment to the website handle, like user@website.com1?
What is the recommendation for users with password policies requiring regular password changes? I guess it's not a problem if users regularly change all their passwords, since they can increment/change their secret, but if the user has services that they regularly change and ones they don't, I imagine the upkeep of remembering the increments for certain websites/keeping separate secrets for both might be cumbersome, and tracking increments in a synced notepad seems inelegant. Does spectre handle this, or have users come up with good workflows that maintain the stateless nature of spectre?
Very excited to start a life in which maintaining passwords aren't a constant hassle.
