How to import passwords from master password

I attempted to follow the instructions

Install the Spectre app,
Log in to your Master Password user,
Master Password should detect the Spectre app and prompt you to migrate your user,

but nothing happens when I open Master Password and log into my user.

Hi, thanks for reaching out!

You might try updating your Master Password app, you can do so by opening the App Store and searching for Master Password, then hitting the UPDATE button if it appears.

You can also use Master Password's Export User function instead if the migrate button doesn't rear its head. Choose a Safe Export and then Share it with the Spectre app.

Thanks. The migrate button still didn't appear, but I tried the export user. I didn't realize you could drop the exported file onto the Spectre app. However, that claimed to work (it said import complete) but no sites actually appeared. (The export file looks fine to me, it has all the sites.)

Meanwhile, MasterPassword itself has been kinda broken for me for a couple months now too. But that's for another thread/forum I guess.

Could you share which dialogs appeared during the process and which buttons you clicked?

What might also be helpful is if you take a look or share with me (support@spectre.app) the log file after importing. Shake the device to reveal the log inspector.

MasterPassword itself has been kinda broken for me for a couple months now too.
