Export from Masterpasswordapp

I wanted to do the export from Masterpasswordapp to Spectre today and followed the instructions. Unfortunately, the import does not work and only the status wheel turns endlessly, but nothing happens. No error message, nothing.
Could the problem be due to special characters and umlauts which I use in the master password (ä,ö,ü,ç)?
I have version 3.0.2 of Spectre.
I have tried this on the iPad and iPhone VE 15.1.
Is there a way to do the import manually?

Would you be able to share some more details about exactly what steps work and what steps break down? Perhaps a screenshot might be helpful as well.

Special characters shouldn't be any issue, regardless of where they appear.

A manual import can also be performed by performing a regular export from the Master Password application and using the "Share" option:

You can then select the Spectre app as the application to share the export with.
